INFO TECH COMPANY OPENS IN DOWNTOWN NORFOLK

Goodman InfoNology Services, an affiliate company formed by Goodman & Co. and TOMAR Management Corp., has opened in the NationsBank building in downtown Norfolk.

Thomas E. Connelly, founder of TOMAR Management Corp., will serve as president.

The new company will provide information technology services to companies and government agencies in the areas of information reporting, systems integration, systems communications and facilities management.

``It's our belief that the computer and information technology are probably the two most important factors affecting us, and our clientele right now,'' said Donald Dale, a director of InfoNology and a managing partner with Goodman & Co., an accounting firm.

Elsewhere in Hampton Roads:

Office Furniture Plus in Chesapeake scheduled its grand opening today. The 20,000-square-foot showroom at 1468 S. Military Highway includes a La-Z-Boy office furniture display.

Don Curry has begun offering massage therapy services at the Tidewater Tennis Center in Norfolk. He's a retired Air Force computer analyst certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork as well as the Fuller School of Massage in Virginia Beach.

Kent W. Ewing is the new president of Leitch Inc. of Chesapeake, an arm of Leitch Technology Corp. of North York, Ontario, a manufacturer of electrical equipment for video and audio signal reproduction. The company employs 130 people at the Chesapeake engineering and production plant.

Ewing, formerly the budget assistant to the chief of naval operations and once commanding officer of the carrier America, joined Leitch in 1993 as government programs director.

He became the worldwide sales representative for Leitch's ViewGuard encryption system, which last summer was purchased by the National Football League and Fox Broadcasting Co. by CNB
