Nydia G. Graziano, 65, died April 7, 1996, in DePaul Medical Center.
She was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. She was a medical secretary for DePaul Medical Center and attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennie A. Newport and her husband William of East Patchogue, N.Y.; two sons, Michael R. Graziano of Norfolk and Frank J. Graziano and wife Victoria of Norfolk; four grandchildren, Angela M. Berrill, Christina M. Newport, William M. Newport and Rocky R. Graziano; two great-grandchildren, Justin Berrill and Ashley Berrill; and loved ones in Puerto Rico.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Father Julian B. Goodman. The family will be at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, for visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Medical Intensive Care Unit of DePaul Medical Center.
