POLICE HOLD 4 SUSPECTS IN SLAYING WITHOUT BAIL

All four people charged in a Saturday drug-related slaying were being held without bail Sunday, police said.

Police identified the suspects as:

Nathan N. Owens, 21, of Georgia.

Keith D. Jackson, 21, also of Georgia.

Micah T. Smith, 26, of the 900 block of Barberton Court.

A 16-year-old girl whose name wasn't released because of her age.

All were charged with murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, attempted robbery, and using a gun in a crime. Owens also was charged with possession of a gun by a felon.

Frederick Infante Jr., 29, was killed shortly after opening his front door to the suspects before dawn Saturday. Police said the suspects targeted Infante's home, in the 4900 block of Hillswick Drive, because they believed drugs and money would be inside. But the intended robbery fell apart after the shooting, police said. ILLUSTRATION: Photos
