A 58-year-old Virginia Beach man died late Sunday after the car he was driving struck a light pole.
Police said the man, whose name wasn't released because his family hadn't been told, apparently lost control of a 1985 Cadillac while traveling north in the 2400 block of Ingleside Road around 9 p.m.
He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he died.
