BERNARD A. VICKERS

Bernard Anthony ``Tony'' Vickers, 65, of the 700 block of Spotswood Ave., died April 7. Mr. Vickers was a native of Canada and was a Roman Catholic in faith.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth P. Vickers of Norfolk; a daughter, Christine Friesen of Ottawa; three stepsons, Greg Whitley of Virginia Beach, Barry Whitley of Orlando, Fla.,and Kim Whitley of Virginia Beach; five sisters, Pat Lyons of Vancouver, B.C., Jo Gatiens of Winnipeg, Margaret Beneteau of Ontario, Christine Masyk of Winnipeg, Frances McGinn of Winnipeg; and one brother, Bill Vickers of Vancouver, B.C.; three grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

A funeral service will conducted on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Reverend Clark Mandigo. Burial will be in the Eastern Shore chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach SPCA.
