Elizabeth B. Pinto, 87, died Saturday, April 6, 1996, at her home following a short illness.
Born on Nov. 15, 1908, in Malone, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine McCullough Smith. Mrs. Pinto was a graduate of the Spencer Business School in Schenectady, N.Y. She was employed as a secretary for the U.S. Air Force ROTC Program at Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., for many years. Upon retiring to Clearwater, Fla., she worked at the St. Cecelia's Rectory in Clearwater, Fla. She enjoyed the companionship of her beloved pet ``Beary.'' Her husband, Robert J. Pinto, died Feb. 2, 1981.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Guy (Rosemary) Biegler of Saratoga Springs; son, Mrs. Robert W. Pinto of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; and five great-granddaughters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Tunison Funeral Home, 105 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs. Burial will be at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, N.Y., at a later date. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Mrs. Pinto's son who is awaiting a heart transplant, c/o Guy Biegler, 51 Luther Road, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. 12866.
