RAYMOND K. COOPER

Raymond Keith Cooper, 58, of the 5100 block of W. Military Highway, died April 8, 1996, at a Portsmouth hospital.

Mr. Cooper, a native of Branchland, W.Va., was a retired boiler technician from Norfolk Shipbuilding and Drydock. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and a veteran of Korean and Vietnam Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Alice L. Cooper; a son, Raymond D. Cooper of Chesapeake; three sisters, Cora Midkiff of Huntington, W.Va., Lois Adams of Branchland, Barbara Nida of Barbersville, W.Va.; six brothers, Dallas Cooper of Canton, Ohio, Roy Cooper of Branchland, Willis Cooper of Peru, Ind., Thomas Cooper of Gloucester, Va., Wendell Cooper of Michigan, and Billy Cooper of Ohio.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. John McDonald. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
