Edward ``Chick'' Shields Jr., 56, of the 700 block of Madison St., died April 5, 1996. He was a veteran.
Survivors include a son, Edward Shields III; his mother, Louise Shields; three sisters, Beryl Parker, Phyllis Shields, Edna Shields; and a brother, Morris Shields.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Fisher Funeral Home by the Rev. George Spicer. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Portsmouth.
