Robert C. MacLaughlin Sr., 81, of the 200 block of W. Bayview Blvd., died April 8, 1996, at a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. MacLaughlin, a retired district manager, worked for the Singer Sewing Machine Co. for 27 years. He was a native of Philadelphia, Pa.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lois MacLaughlin; a son, Robert C. MacLaughlin Jr. of Norfolk; a sister, Caroline Hoke of Lebanon, Pa.; a brother, David McLaughlin of Philadelphia; and two grandchildren, Sherry MacLaughlin of Richmond and Shannon Richard of Charles City, Va.
Services will be private and at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
