Edna Holt Beale, 77, of the 1200 block of Foursome Lane, died April 9, 1996.
Mrs. Beale, the widow of Willis Vinson Beale, was a retired data processor from the Naval Supply Center. She was a native of Norfolk and a member of Zion Grace United Methodist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly B. Lynch of Virginia Beach; a son, Willis V. Beale of McLean, Va.; two brothers, Leslie E. Holt of Mobjack, Va., Alvin H. Holt of Norfolk; four grandchildren, John C. Lynch of Raleigh, N.C., Suzanne S. Lynch of Virginia Beach, Mary Vinson Beale of Atlanta, and Sarah C. Beale of Vienna, Va.; and two great-grandchildren, Flannery and Riley Lynch of Raleigh.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Charles W. Hubbard Jr. The family will be at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at the home of Beverly Lynch, 2304 Wood Beach Landing, Virginia Beach.
