Robert P. Brinkley Jr., 48, died April 7, 1996, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, Texas.
Mr. Brinkley was born in Portsmouth, Aug. 12, 1947. He married Terry Moore on April 4, 1970. He attended Sunset Bible Institute and was the Minister at the Hermleigh Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jason Matthew, of Reese Air Force Base; two daughters, Jennifer Ann Moss of Abilene, Texas, and Jana Brinkley of Hermleigh; a brother, Ronald Eugene Brinkley; two sisters, Brenda Landers and Judith Crafton, both of Portsmouth; and a grandson, Connor Robert Brinkley.
A memorial service will be held today at 2 p.m. in Shallowater Church of Christ, Cliff Rogers and Norman Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park, Resthaven Funeral Home.
