Robert W. Simpson, 46, of Mechanicsburg, Hampden township, died Friday in Holy Spirit Hospital, E. Pennsboro township.
He was born on Nov. 9, 1949, in Suffolk, the son of William and Elsie Darden Simpson of Chuckatuck, Va. He was a program analyst for Kinneys Shoes, Shiremanstown. He was a member of Silver Spring Presbyterian Church, Mechanicsburg, and it's choir, and was an ordained deacon and an elder. He was an Army veteran and a graduate of Old Dominion University.
He is survived by his parents, William and Elsie Darden Simpson of Chuckatuck; brother, Bradley Simpson of Chesapeake; and several nieces, and nephews. Memorial services will be April 20, 1996, at 2 p.m. in Oakland Christian Church, Chuckatuck, Va. Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, will be handling the arrangements.
