Margaret Louise Jarvis, 72, of the 3900 block of Buchannan Drive, died April 9, 1996, in her home.
She was a retired store manager for Albano Cleaners where she had worked for 23 years. She was a native of Norfolk.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Johnnie Schilling of Marion, Texas, Marion and Greg Thompson of Virginia Beach and Dorothy and Larry Russ of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Elizabeth Donner of Blytheville, Ark.; brother, Charles Luther Parsons Jr. of Norfolk; seven grandchildren, Margaret Anne Dunlap, Darrin Schilling, Shannon Reynolds, Wayne Judd, Kimberly Russ, Diana Russ, and Virginia East; three great-grandchildren, Duane Burford, Megan Elizabeth Dunlap, and Jasmine Judd; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret Nora Parsons and Charles Luther Parsons Jr.; and her daughter, Louise Virginia East.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Friday by Pastor John W. Godfrey in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Burial is in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral today from 6 to 8 p.m.
