WILLIAM C. SANDERLIN

William C. ``Smeary'' Sanderlin of the 400 block of Fenchurch St., died on April 6, 1996.

A native of Princess Anne County in Virginia Beach, he was the son of the late Frank McMillan Sr. and the late Beulah Lee Sanderlin. He spent most of his childhood in New York City, and returned to Virginia as a young adult.

He is survived by five brothers, Linwood Earl Sanderlin of Norfolk, Frank Sanderlin Jr. and Michael Sanderlin of New York City, Ronald McMilan and Richard McMillan of Shiloh, N.C.; five sisters, Myrtle Sanderlin of Norfolk, Yvette Sanderlin of New York City, Eva McMillan and Angie McMillan of Shiloh, N.C., and Vanessa McMillan of North Carolina; several aunts and uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery today. The family will meet afterwards at 466 Fenchurch St., in Norfolk. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
