FRANK W. SAUNDERS

Frank W. Saunders, 72, of the 5100 block of Windemere Ave., died April 10, 1996, in a local hospital.

He was a an electrician for N.A.R.F. and a native of Ellsworth, Maine. Mr. Saunders belonged to Christ the King Catholic Church and was a member of Knights of Columbus (NU)367, and the Fleet Reserve Association. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

He is survived by five daughters, Sandra J. Saunders of Virginia Beach, Cheryl Christine Grossmith of Southfield, Mich., Wanda Sue Saunders and Gene Eller of Virginia Beach, Linda Marie and Bill Hager of Norfolk, Teri Elaine and Duanne Ammann of Belvidere, N.C., Debee Lynne and Danny Pulley of Norfolk; son, William Francis Saudners of Norfolk; three sisters, Helen Wood of Gorham, Maine, Amy Patten and Ruth Moore, both of Ellsworth, Maine; and 17 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Christ the King Catholic Church. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
