Eli Q. Brien, 83, died April 11, 1996, in a local hospital.
He was retired from electronics sales and was a native of Green Bay, Wis. He was a member of Church of the Holy Family.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Brien; a daughter, Judy Moore of Virginia Beach; three sons, Quinten Brien of Milwaukee, Wis., Norman Brien of Chesapeake, John Brien of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by Father Richard T. Mooney. Burial is in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A Christian wake service will be conducted Sunday at 7 p.m. with visitation to follow until 8:30 p.m.
