WILHELMINA H. CARSON

Wilhelmina H. ``Min'' Carson, 78, died April 12, 1996, in Maryview Medical Center.

Mrs. Carson, a native of Philadelphia, was the widow of James Edward Carson. She was a member of St. Therese's Catholic Church, the Ladies of St. Therese, and the Pinehurst Garden Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Faith C. Keczan and her husband Louis of Portsmouth, Jacqueline A. Kessler and her husband Raymond of Richmond, Va.; three sisters, Anne Smith of Philadelphia, Marie Ryan of Drexel Hill, Pa., Doris H. Geiser of Marlton, N.J.; a brother; four grandchildren, Michael J. Keczan, Anna K. Osborne, Raymond Scott Kessler, Bruce Carson Kessler; three great-grandchildren, Kate Loraine Kessler, Ellis Carl Kessler, and Sarah Nicole Obsborne.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Church of the Resurrection by the Rev. James Griffin. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to St. Therese's Catholic Church Building Fund.
