A field of 25 contestants will compete for the title of Little Miss Chesapeake Saturday at Deep Creek High School.
The 18th annual pageant begins at 7 p.m. at the school at 2900 Margaret Booker Drive.
The competition will include an appearance by Elise Lemar, the 1995 Little Miss Chesapeake, who will assist Chesapeake Mayor William E. Ward in crowning the new titleholder. Stacey Moseley, former Little Miss Chesapeake and current Miss Norfolk, will act as mistress of ceremonies.
A portion of the proceeds from the pageant will be donated to the families of two Chesapeake firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Tickets, which will be available at the door, cost $5 each.
