LOIS M. MCDONALD

Lois F. Hutchinson Mantz McDonald, RT, died April 11, 1996, in her residence in Calabash, N.C.

She was born Nov. 2, 1942, in Portsmouth. She was a graduate of the radiology school at Maryview Hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sybil Hutchinson and her father, Howard P. Hutchinson.

She is survived by her husband, Charles I. McDonald; two daughters, Michelle L. Mantz of Gastonia, N.C., Mary M. Semler of Littleton, N.C.; two sons, David L. Mantz Jr. of Florence, Ky., Peter M. Mantz of Norfolk; stepdaughter, Cathy Trombetta of Laurel, Md.; two stepsons, Charles I. McDonald Jr. of Easton, Md. and Thomas M. McDonald of Fairfax, Va.; sister, Jean Warner of Tampa, Fla.; and brother, Howard P. Hutchinson Jr. of Edinburgh, Va.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in First Presbyterian Church, Norfolk, by Dr. Shep Russell. Burial is in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Lois McDonald requested donations be made to the Radiology Technologists Continuing Education Fund, DePaul Health Foundation, 150 Kingsley Lane, Norfolk, Va. 23505.
