Harry Leroy Wright, 72, formerly of the 700 block of Madison St., died April 13, 1996, in a nursing home.
Mr. Wright was born in Portsmouth and was retired from Dixie Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Third Baptist Church and the Senior Choir.
Survivors include a sister, Abelle Freeman.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Celestial Baptist Church by the Rev. Leon J. Boone. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. The body will be placed in church at 10 a.m. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge.
