Ruby Louise Whitt, 75, died April 14, 1996, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Whitt was born in Montgomery County, Va., and was a homemaker. She attended Virginia Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Oren Whitt of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Ruby Cutchin and Tina Whitt, both of Norfolk; two sons, Richard ``Ricky'' Whitt of Virginia Beach and Timothy Whitt of Franklin, Va.; a sister, Kathryn Minnick of Christiansburg, Va.; a brother, Jack Altizer of Jacksonville, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. George T. Boyd. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel.
