Gloria H. ``Little Sis'' Goode, 61, of the 2400 block of Oak St., died April 11, 1996, in her home.
She was a native of Portsmouth and a member, usher, and member of the missionary society of Mount Hermon Baptist Temple Church, Portsmouth.
She is survived by five daughters, Teleza Hazelwood, Jereena Hazelwood, Gloria Walker, all of Portsmouth, Jacqueline Roberts of Montgomery, Ala., and Angela Goode of Lawrenceville, Va.; four sons, Lewis Goode Jr., Lloyd Goode, Keith Goode, all of Portsmouth, and Joseph Goode, Charlottesville, Va.; three sisters, Thelma Smallwood of Windsor, N.C., Alberta Bates of Portsmouth, and Dorothy Purvis of Norfolk; three brothers, Lloyd A. Drew and William Drew Jr., both of Portsmouth; and Alonza Drew of Columbus, Ga.; seven grandchildren; three adopted daughters, Deborah Rainey of Portsmouth, Loretta Rainey of Philadelphia, and Joan Rainey of Lawrenceville, Va.; a very devoted special friend, Charles Hazelwood of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday by the Rev. Stephan Adams in Mount Hermon Baptist Temple Church, Portsmouth. Burial is in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. today. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
