John Etter Freeman, 76, of the 1100 block of Mount Vernon Ave., died April 12, 1996.
She was born in Colerain, N.C., and was a member and missionary of Celestial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Hersey L. Freeman; a daughter, Barbara Reid; two sons, Alvin Freeman and Randolph Freeman; three nephews, Clifton Reid, Junius Wright and Gregory Wright; a niece, Brenda Wright; and two great-nephews, Brandon Wright and Julius Wright.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Third Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will assemble at Fisher Funeral Home at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.
