Mary Ernestine Vann, 72, of Route 3, died April 14, 1996, at Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
Mrs. Vann, a retired seamstress, was a native of Bertie County, N.C. She was a member of Brantley's Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters; two sons; two sisters; a brother; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at Brantley's Grove Baptist Church, Ahoskie, by the Rev. Jimmy Ward.
