Shirley B. Adams, 79, died April 14, 1996, at a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Adams, a native of Pittsylvania County, Va., was retired from Jim Adams Realty Corp. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, James L. Adams; a daughter, Mrs. Romayne A. Hardy and her husband, Robert, of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. Lottie V. Merrill of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by Dr. W.C. Holoman. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
