Sherry Bivines, 51, of the 3300 block of Elm Ave., died April 13, 1996.
She was a retired supervisor for Smithfield Packing Co. She was a native of Caswell County, N.C., and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Cornell Taylor Jr. and Ronald Angelo Taylor, both of Norfolk; her mother, Nannie Ruth Billups Codtington of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Edith Billups Smith of Arlington, Va.; a brother, Edward James Billups of Portsmouth; five grandchildren, Ebony Taylor, Alex Taylor, Ryan Grace, Brit'ne Taylor and D'Ron Taylor; four uncles, Louis Brown, Ronald M. Taylor, Harold Billups and Robert Billups; two aunts, Vera Hill and Esther Billups. She was predeceased by her father, Elijah James Billups.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hale Funeral Home Chapel, Norfolk, by Dr. John H. Foster. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home Saturday at 10:30 a.m. for the funeral.
