CALVIN L. TUCK

Calvin Lee Tuck, 66, of the first block of Roberts Ave., died April 14, 1996.

Mr. Tuck, a native of Gretna, Va., was the retired owner and operator of Cal-Ray Supermarket, where he worked for 22 years. He was the widower of Norma S. Tuck and a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Zuni, Va. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, former district and store manager of Safeway Stores, Richmond, Va., for 27 years, and former Jaycees member of Farmville, Va.

Survivors include a daughter, LeVon T. Flanagan of Tequesta, Fla., and son-in-law, Charles T. Flanagan; a son, Michael W. Tuck and daughter-in-law, Linda L. Tuck of Windsor; his mother, Louise George Neal of Richmond; a half-brother, Robert F. Neal Jr. of Wilmington, N.C.; six grandchildren, Candace D. Tuck and M. Shane Tuck of Windsor, Melissa L. Stanford and Rebecca A. Stanford of Windsor and Joseph T. Flanagan and Luke B. Flanagan of Tequesta. He was predeceased by his father, Norwood Tuck.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today by the Rev. Lindsay Poteat at Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Va. Donations may be made to the Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad or Windsor Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 601, Windsor. Calvin's generosity truly showed his love for his community.
