Ruth Jenkins Baker, 82, formerly of New York, died April 12, 1996, in Rock Hill, S.C.
She was retired from the IRS as an auditor. She was a native of Norfolk and a member of St. Mark Methodist Church, New York.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Spellman and Miss Blanche Jenkins, both of Norfolk; two brothers, Sidney F. Jenkins of Rock Hill and Joseph H. Jenkins of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pretlow and Sons' Funeral Home Chapel, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
