Ronald L. Wilson, 44, of the 8600 block of Albemarle Drive, died April 16, 1996, at DePaul Medical Center.
Mr. Wilson, a native of Norfolk, was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church, Norfolk. He was a sheet-metal worker at the Public Work Center for 22 years. He was an Army Reserves sergeant first class of the 1st Battalion, 80th Regiment, 4th Brigade Company D, Fort Story, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Wilson; three sons, Ronald Jr., Michael and Tyrone Wilson, all of Norfolk; his parents, Florence Boddie and Richard Boddie, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Christine Frauntleroy of Norfolk and Andrea Givens of Guam; seven brothers, Richard Jr. and Larry Boddie of California, Calvin Boddie of Chesapeake, Charlie Wilson and James, Lorenzo and Allen Boddie, all of Norfolk; and a grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Peter Wherry at Queen Street Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Hale Funeral Home is in charge. Family and friends will assemble at 522 Massachusetts Avenue on Friday for the procession to the church.
