Evelyn Richardson of Route 1 died Tuesday, April 16, 1996, at Chesapeake Health Care Center.
She was the daughter of the late Adolfus and Vertie Hornes Spinks. She was a Baptist and a native of Marietta, Ga.
Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband, Cullen O. Richardson Sr. of Moyock; a daughter, Tresea L. Richardson of Barco, N.C.; a son, Cullen ``Van'' Richardson Jr. and his wife, Sherri, of Moyock; three grandchildren, Harrison Nelson Hoffman Jr. and Christopher Michael Hoffman, both of Chesapeake, and Amanda L. Richardson of Moyock; and several nieces and nephews, including Barbara McPhearson of Marietta.
The funeral will be held in the chapel of Twiford Funeral Home on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Alfred Forsyth officiating. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake.
