WENDY A. RUSS

Wendy Allison Russ, 35, of the 100 block of Hill Prince Road, died April 15, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, as the result of an automobile accident.

She was a native of Wilmington, N.C., and was a Methodist. She worked as an intermodal coordinator for Mitsui OSK Lines (America Inc.). In addition to her love of her betrothed, Gary, family and friends, Wendy loved the beach, camping, bike riding and the outdoors. She loved collecting angels and will surely enjoy being amongst them.

She is survived her betrothed, Gary Lopez; mother, Bunny Gaskins Russ Heath of Oak Island, N.C.; two sisters, Robin and Scottie Russ, both of Norfolk; brother, Ray Russ of San Francisco, Calif.; niece, Caroline Russ of Norfolk; special friends, Maureen O'Keefe Corra, John Fallin, the Klim-czynskis, and hundreds of dear sweet other friends too numerous to mention; and her beloved pet cat, Booger.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will be private and at a later date.
