James Earl Maddrey, 35, of the 24000 block of Bows and Arrows Road, died April 17, 1996, in Obici Hospital, Suffolk.
He was a truck driver for Prillaman Chemical Corporation, Suffolk. He was a native of Nansemond County, Va.
He is survived by his fiancee, Debbie Marie Reynolds; daughter, Christina Michelle Maddrey of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Shelby M. Tabor of West Virginia, Ann Maddrey of New Canton, Va., and Betty M. Carr of Suffolk; brother, Bobby Maddrey of West Virginia. He was predeceased by his parents, Rosa Pippins Maddrey and J. Gerald Maddrey; and a sister, Sandra M. Parker; and a brother, David Maddrey.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, today from 7 to 8 p.m.
