ESTHER M. RODGERS

Esther Mae Rodgers, of the 2500 block of Carona Ave., died April 16, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mrs. Rodgers, the widow of Harold Rodgers Sr., was a housewife. She was a native of Norfolk and a Baptist.

Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis Rodgers, Harolyn Rodgers, and Ray Rodgers, all of Norfolk; four sons, Harold Rodgers Jr., Carlton Rodgers, Gregg Rodgers, and Adam Rodgers, all of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Harold Louis Rodgers, Maegan A. Rodgers, and Latisa Grettlyn Rodgers, all of Norfolk; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by a daughter, Arva Rodgers.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Monday by Bishop Anthony Moses at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing Sunday at 3 p.m. The family will assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. for the procession.
