MILDRED C. WELCH

Mildred Cates Welch, 85, died April 18, 1996, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Mrs. Welch was a native of Burlington, N.C. She was the widow of William E. Welch. She was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church in Virginia Beach.

Survivors include three nephews, Charles R. Keesee and his wife, Margaret Keesee, of Greensboro, N.C., Tom B. Cates and his wife, Vesta Cates, of Tempe, Ariz., and Pat A. Cates of Greensboro.

A chapel service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Clark Mandigo. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 945, Virginia Beach, 23451.
