Michael Anthony Rolka Sr., 61, of the 1600 block of Skyline Drive, died April 18, 1996, at a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Rolka, a native of Chelsea, Mass., was a retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer. He was also retired from the Navy Exchange.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Hughes Rolka; five daughters, Helena Kuhnley and her husband, Ralph, Carolyn L. Rolka, Frances Pawluk and her husband, Danny, Linda L. Rolka and Mary K. Rolka, all of Norfolk; a son, Michael Anthony Rolka Jr. and his wife, Teresa, of Norfolk; six grandchildren, Stephen J. Rolka, Christopher M. Rolka, Ronnie Rolka, Amanda Kuhnley, Katie Pawluk, and Danny Pawluk II, all of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by Danny James Pawluk at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial with military honors will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m.
