Francis Joseph La Mastra, 78, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died April 19, 1996, at a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. La Mastra was the retired owner of La Mastra TV and Radio Service in Norfolk after 25 years. He was also retired from civil service at Naval Air Rework Facility after 15 years of service. He was a Catholic and a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Craig La Mastra; three daughters, Linda Myers and Patricia Cooke, both of Virginia Beach, and Deborah Smith of Chesapeake; a stepdaughter, Suzanne Hicks of Winchester, Va.; a stepson, Craig Halman of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by Father Edward L. Richardson in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
