Mr. Dorsey Linwood Miller, 77, of 946 NC 45-North, died Friday, April 19, 1996.
A native of Bertie County, Mr. Miller was a son of the late Wayland and Fannie Hoggard Miller and the husband of the late Sylvia Alice Miller. Mr. Miller was retired from the Newport News Shipyard.
Surviving Mr. Miller is a sister, Alice Miller Williams of Merry Hill, and a brother, Clyde Miller of Merry Hill; a stepdaughter, Rae Bage of Chesapeake; a step-granddaughter; and a step-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Dennis Conner. The family will be at the Lloyd Finch residence, 937 NC 45-North, Merry Hill. The Evans Funeral Home, Edenton, is in charge.
