WARNER VOTED AGAINST

I am writing out of frustration because I am seeing so little cooperation among human beings on vitally important issues. And though I have admired Sen. John Warner's firm stand against those who supported Oliver North, I am now appalled at his vote against the environment - he voted to continue the moratorium to prevent any new species from being protected by the Endangered Species Act.

Conflicting visions threaten cooperation with yet another group planning to make this area its headquarters. I am afraid part of the division has been created by PETA itself by its tactics when it should be working in harmony with others, i.e., Chesapeake Bay group, Nader's Public Citizen, Physicians Against Nuclear Waste, Greenpeace, Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund and all the others trying to save the planet from man's selfish interests rather than competing with others. What a force for good if they all worked together!
