Stanley Brzozowski, 83, of the 800 block of Milford Lane, died April 20, 1996, in Obici Hospital.
He was a retired boiler maker at Quaker Sugar Refinery. He retired from there after 27 years of service. He was a native of Poland and a member of St. Mary of the Presentation. He and his wife, Maria, were married for 59 years.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Brzozowski; two daughters, Emily B. Hayworth of Landenberg, Pa., Teresa B. Donahue of Suffolk; son, John Brzozowski; eight grandchildren, Lynn, Lance, Frank, Stasha, Lori, Patrick, Jim, Chris; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Emily Stefanowski and Egnots Brzozowski.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by Father Thomas B. Nee at St. Mary of the Presentation. Burial is in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive visitors at Hill Funeral Home today from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Mary of the Presentation Capital Improvement Fund, 202 S. Broad St., Suffolk, Va. 23434.
