Karin Lee Stalcup, 66, died April 21, 1996 at a Virginia Beach hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry, of 47 years; three daughters, Kari Roberson of Westminster, Calif., Kristina Koontz of Orange, Calif., and Kirsten Kitt of Virginia Beach; two sons, Karl of Norfolk and Kurt of Virginia Beach; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Her father, Karl Hendricks, lives in Van Nuys, Calif.
Karin was a homemaker and mother who was very active in PTAs, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and other youth activities. She was also active in numerous craft and quilting clubs and had many friends in Virginia Beach bowling leagues.
A memorial service will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, at 1:30 p.m. today with the Rev. Thomas H. Britton officiating.
