CARLTON T. WHITE

Carlton T. White, 84, of the 2800 block of Dunkirk Ave., died April 21, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mr. White was born in Republican Grove, Va., and was retired as a bus driver for Virginia Transit after 32 years. He was a member of London Bridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia M. White; two daughters, Dolores W. Turner, Scarlett W. Jennings and son-in-law, William T. Jennings, all of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Ethel Parker of Danville, Va., Peggy Mustain of Cascade, Va., Mary Miller of Lutz, Fla., and Aline McKay of Morehead City, N.C.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Tommy Taylor. The family will be at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, for visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
