GLADYS M. WILLIFORD

Gladys M. Williford, 90, of the 800 block of William Ave., died Saturday, April 20, 1996, in Portsmouth.

She was a native of Dunn, N.C., and was the widow of Theodore S. Williford. She was a member of Portsmouth First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Esther W. Smith of Chesapeake; four sons, William B. Williford and Roger T. Williford of Portsmouth, Keith W. Williford and Russell D. Williford of Chesapeake; two sisters, Hazel Meadows and Grace Edwards of Raleigh, N.C.; a brother, Paul Pope of Angier, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Portsmouth First Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Nelson F. Fields. Burial will be in Tew Cemetery, Dunn, N.C. The family will be at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
