A police crackdown on drunken driving in Hampton Roads continued Saturday night and early Sunday in Accomack County with police charging three motorists with DUI.
State police and the sheriffs department set up a checkpoint at the intersection of routes 175 and 679 near Wattsville.
About 100 cars were stopped. In addition to the three DUI charges, one driver was charged with being a habitual offender. Another 10 drivers received tickets for assorted traffic violations. by CNB
