RICHARD A. THOMAS

Richard Allen Thomas, of the 300 block of E. 27th St., died April 20, 1996. He was a native of Norfolk.

Survivors include three daughters, Kimberly Newsome, Tamika Hendricks, both of Norfolk, and Danielle Porter of Texas; his mother, Etta Mae Spencer of Norfolk; five sisters, Shirley Anne Watson, Vanessa Joyner, Bernadine Winslow, Myra Joyner, and Celestine Thomas, all of Norfolk; four brothers, Robert R. Thomas, Anthony Thomas, Bernard Ganther and Reginald L. Ganther, all of Norfolk; a host of grandchildren; nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law, Dennis E. Watson; and a sister-in-law, Samantha Ganther.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Arthur Moats at Graves Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence.
