In October 1995, my daughter was granted a very special wish through the Make a Wish Foundation. She, with the rest of the family, went on a seven-day cruise to the Caribbean where she saw a rain forest and a volcano, also part of her wish.
Cheryl died April 1 with complications of cystic fibrosis. Although her family has a multitude of wonderful memories, the very special memories made possible by the Make a Wish Foundation will always stand out.
I salute the Make a Wish Foundation and encourage support for this organization so that other children can wish for the stars.
