Nancy Leah Adams, 61, of 3709 Kenny Lane, died April 24, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bennetts Creek Ward. She was a native of Portsmouth.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Monroe Adams Jr.; mother, Sadie Russell; daughter, Karen A. Jackson and her husband, Robert Jackson, of Charlottesville; son, David S. Adams of Portsmouth; sister, Beverly Worrell of Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Lee Jackson and Bethany Jackson of Charlottesville; niece, Leigh Sizemore and her husband, Mike Sizemore; nephew, Albert Worrell; great-nephews, Christopher and Clay Sizemore, all of Portsmouth.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today by Bishop Holland in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the church. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, is in charge.
