Melissa Jane Gibboney, 42, died April 16, 1996, in Houston, Texas.
She attended school in Virginia Beach and graduated from Lake Taylor High School. She went to college in Beloit, Wis., and the University of Kentucky; then received her master's from the University of Indiana. She was employed at Cogniseis Corporation as product manager, traveling extensively in her field. She was greatly loved by her associates and will be painfully missed by her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph H. Unger; a daughter, Rachael; mother and father, Orville and Mary Carico Gibboney; and a brother, John Gibboney.
A private committal was held in Saxton, Pa. Any remembrance should be sent to M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital, Houston, Texas.
