Alexander Ellis, 81, of 309 King St., died Tuesday, April 16, 1996, in Albemarle Hosptial, Elizabeth City.
He is survived by two sisters, Miss Charlotte Ellis of Norfolk, and Mary Kade of Philadelphia.
A funeral service was conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 23 at Ellis Temple Baptist Church. Burial was in the Perry Family Cemetery in Winfall, N.C. Walson Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
