Dorothy McCoy Morris, 85, of the 2500 block of Meiggs Road, died April 25, 1996.
Mrs. Morris, the widow of William Warren Morris, was a native of Surry County, Va. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jo Koon of Chesapeake; a son, William Warren Morris of Mechanicsville, Va.; four sisters, Alice Robinson of Norfolk, Molly Charnock of Charlotte, N.C., Alese McGlaughon of Portsmouth, Betty Burton of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by the Rev. Richard C. Mallory. Burial will be in Bacons Castle Cemetery, Surry County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
