BRUCE E. POLLOCK

Bruce Ernell Pollock, 61, died Dec. 25, 1995, at his residence in Sacramento, and is now at peace with the Lord.

He was a native of Norfolk and had worked as a registered nurse in Mercy San Juan Hospital in Sacramento, Calif. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired with over 20 years of service to his country.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Pollock; daughter, Tonya Williams; son, Damon Pollock; mother, Viola Marrow of Norfolk; two sisters, Wilhelmina Reid, Ruth Marrow; two brothers, Karl Marrow and Johnny ``Roscoe'' Pollock. He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, and many old classmates from Booker T. Washington High School.

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 5 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Service. At Mr. Pollock's request his body was cremated at the time of his death in California.
